It needs to have a solid manufacturer backed product warranty. There are specific marble polishes easily found. Spray the counter with a marble cleaner and buff dry with a soft cloth. The best marble sealer is going have low or no vocs volatile organic compounds and be environmentally friendly.

As you are carefully removing the wax you will need to make sure you are not getting wax back onto the countertop. Remove the wax. At a minimum wait at least 10 minutes for the wax to soak in. To do this use grade 0000 steel wool.

I recommend dupont stonetech bulletproof sealer. Spread the sealer across the entire marble countertop with a clean dry cloth and let the sealer soak into the marble for the length of time specified on the product s container typically less. Stay away from wax and polish. This will make your stone yellow.

Four no wax polishes. Lastly remove the wax from your countertop. Marble wax is used as a coating to protect the surface of the marble. This will remove any impurities from the surface of the marble that may interfere with the sealing process.

Expect to seal every year despite popular sealant brands saying that they last three. Marble is vulnerable to staining and discoloration so it should be sealed with a commercial grade stone sealer. It will usually only take a few minutes.
